Administrative Science Association of Canada

ASAC was born in 1972. Since then, ASAC has grown both in number of members, representation from Schools of Business nation-wide and in the quality of scholarship presented. ASAC now has a total of 700 members in 15 different divisions and interest groups. They include Finance, Management Science, Marketing, Information Systems, Organisational Behaviour, Policy, Production and Operations Management, Human Resources, Management Education, Entrepreneurship, Women in Management, Organisational Theory, Tourism Management and Business History.
Publications
ASAC publishes the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, Annual Conference proceedings for each division and interest group, as well as two bulletins every year.
Awards
Annual Awards are given for best CJAS Paper, best PhD Thesis, Best paper and honorable mention in each division or interest group at the annual conference.
IFSAM Membership
ASAC is a co-founder of IFSAM.
Conferences
ASAC holds a annual conference that attracts 400-500 academics from across Canada. The conference runs for three days with up to eleven paper sessions for ASAC's fifteen divisions and interest groups. |
