Generative AI in Management Education in practice

Session overview

This session hosted by IFSAM education team provides the opportunity for  participants to take a deeper dive into the recently launched IFSAM Vademecum on Generative AI in Management Education in practice. The session will begin with an initial presentation by Salvatore Moccia, Deputy VP Education at IFSAM outlining the Vademecum – aims, purpose, contents and applications.
The presentation will be followed by a ‘Question and Answer’ session where  participants will have the opportunity to ask their burning questions and to discuss the Vademecum in more detail. Discussions may range from philosophical questions presented by advances in artificial intelligence such as the implications on cognitive agency, labour and critical thinking in management education to practical questions relating to ‘how to’ implement the guidelines in practice within members’ associations or institutions.
The third part of the session will focus on a ‘hands-on workshop’ through which participants will be guided through a number of practical tools contained within the faculty Sandbox contained within the Vademecum through which to explore, experiment with, and critically reflect on generative AI integration in teaching, assessment, and research within member associations and members’ institutions.
