IFSAM International Case Collection: Join the First Case-Writing Workshop

IFSAM is pleased to announce the first Case-Writing Workshop connected to the IFSAM International Case Collection – Global Challenges, Local Insights: An International Casebook for Management Education, forthcoming with Springer and edited by YingYing Zhang-Zhang, Nic Beech, and Matteo Cristofaro.

The workshop will take place online on 20 October 2026 at 14:00 CEST and is open to both colleagues who have already submitted a case proposal and members of the wider IFSAM community who are interested in the initiative and may wish to contribute.

The session will offer participants an opportunity to meet the editors and colleagues involved in the project, learn more about the Case Collection and its next stages, and explore key aspects of developing high-quality teaching cases for an international audience.

Topics will include case writing and structure, pedagogical value, teaching notes, and international quality standards. Participants will also be invited to present and discuss their own case ideas or work in progress and receive initial feedback.

Through the initiative, IFSAM aims to bring diverse management experiences and perspectives into the classroom, transforming locally grounded challenges and practices into teaching cases with relevance for management education across countries and contexts.
