Interessante iniziativa proposta da BAM in collaborazione con SIMA per dottorandi e giovani ricercatori 📚 Annunciamo una nuova borsa di studio!

The British Academy of Management (BAM) and Società Italiana di Management (SIMA), the academic and scientific association of Italian professors of management, are delighted to announce the launch of a new joint research grant, as part of our collaborative partnership.

This new scheme, formally announced at the BAM Conference in the Cloud (2020), will facilitate collaboration between scholars across borders and will run in 2021.  The application portal will be open from July 2021, with the awarded grants beginning in early 2022. Grant holders will present their findings to both the SIMA and BAM annual conferences.

This scheme is aimed at supporting and advancing international research collaborations between management researchers in Italy and the UK. It seeks to support the development of BAM and SIMA members who are at an early stage in their careers. Established researchers are also eligible to apply. The scheme is open to all SIMA and BAM Members; non-members wishing to apply to the scheme can join either SIMA or BAM as appropriate.

Potential applicants seeking collaborators in the other nation may post ‘matchmaking notices’ outlining their areas of interest on a dedicated page of the BAM and SIMA websites once the scheme is launched.

The maximum value of the award will be £4,000 sterling (approx. Euro 4,500 based on current Exchange Rates), with funding shared by both SIMA and BAM equally.  An optional joint membership will be available in 2021 to new and existing BAM and SIMA members.

Look out for more details in the spring!
