International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM) Recognizes Professor Pervez N. Ghauri with the Award for Exceptional Service to the Management Field Worldwide.
[Brussel, Belgium] – The International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM) proudly announces the recipient of its esteemed Award for Exceptional Service to the Management Field Worldwide.
This prestigious accolade aims to honor, acknowledge, and celebrate outstanding contributions to significant and effective service to the management scholarly community worldwide, and having led important impactful initiatives for the field. In recognition of his remarkable achievements, the award is bestowed upon Professor Pervez N. Ghauri, a distinguished Professor at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham, UK.
Professor Ghauri’s tireless dedication and commitment to advancing the management field globally have earned him this prestigious recognition. His significant contributions have not only enriched scholarly development but have also had a profound impact on the practice of management worldwide.
Commenting on the award, Roger Strange, Professor at Sussex University Business School, stated, “Pervez was also the Founding Editor (in 1991) of one of the top journals in international business, International Business Review… His many substantive contributions to the field of international business have been recognized by his election as a Fellow of the Academy of International Business (AIB) and of the European International Business Academy (EIBA) and by the award (in 2022) by the AIB (UK & Ireland Chapter) of the John H. Dunning Lifetime Achievement Award. Pervez Ghauri has undoubtedly demonstrated exceptional service to the Management field in many countries and in many ways. I would also like to put on record the hundreds of young (and not so young such as myself) scholars to whom Pervez has provided help and feedback over the years…”.
