On 23 June, representatives from IFSAM’s Member Associations gathered for the Federation’s Annual General Assembly, one of the most important moments in the IFSAM governance calendar.
The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on IFSAM’s achievements over the past year and to discuss priorities for the Federation’s future. Members:
- reviewed progress on the 2025–2027 Strategic Plan,
- received the President’s Annual Report, and
- heard updates from the Vice Presidents, General Assembly Committees, and Leaders’ Platform Meetings, highlighting the wide range of initiatives undertaken across the Federation.
The Assembly also considered governance matters, including:
- appointments to General Assembly committees,
- recommendations from the IFSAM Advisory Council,
- and updates from Member Associations around the world, reinforcing the collaborative nature of the Federation
Financial matters were another important part of the agenda, with the General Assembly approving the 2025 annual accounts, reviewing budget execution, and discussing membership fees and budget planning for 2027.
The meeting once again demonstrated IFSAM’s commitment to collaborative governance, bringing together Member Associations, elected leaders, committees, and advisory bodies to strengthen international cooperation in management research, education, and practice while shaping the Federation’s future together.
