What is IFSAM International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management is a federative organization whose members are management-related scholarly associations. IFSAM strives to be the United Nations of academies pertaining to management around the world, to be the world wide policy body in management research, teaching and practice. Promoting the development of specific parts of management research and teaching.

WHAT IS IFSAM?
International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management is a federative organization whose members are management-related scholarly associations.
MISSION
IFSAM serves as a global platform for the community of management scholars and associations. By connecting academies across continents and disciplines, IFSAM fosters collaboration, strengthens international dialogue, and contributes to shaping the future of management research, teaching, and practice worldwide.
SCHOLARLY AREAS
IFSAM welcomes all areas and subfields of Management, Organization, Administrative Sciences, and Business Administration.
AWARDS
Since 2021 IFSAM recognizes four awards for outstanding contributions regarding excellence in societally relevant scholarship, indigenous research, pedagogical innovation and service to the profession worldwide.
MEETINGS
IFSAM holds quarterly meetings with the presidents Leaders’ Platform Meetings (LPM) and chairs of the member and observer associations to share and learn about topics of interest for the scholarly profession and management field, such as the future of higher education, academic conferences, and scientific research (open data and science) in management.
EVENTS AND DISSEMINATIONS
IFSAM regularly organizes several events, including a biannual congress, webinars on topics of interest, and anniversary celebrations. IFSAM representatives also regularly participate to member association’s annual conferences.

What is IFSAM

As stated in IFSAM’s statutes: The objectives of the Federation shall be the development of management research and teaching as a unified science and its advancement in all nations of the world. Means to these ends shall include:

Sponsoring international conferences.
Providing other means for exchange of information on management research and teaching among associations of scholars throughout the world.
