Technology, Change, and the Future of Higher Education in Management

7 September 2022
15:30 CEST

IFSAM Conversation Letter 2 on 16th Congress
20 November 2022

https://doi.org/10.57602/ICL2-RT3-2022

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated a process that was already underway – the much greater use of information technology in management education. Digital platforms became essential in delivering education programmes, and it is not clear what delivery models will be adopted once COVID-19 recedes. In addition, technologies such as augmented and virtual reality are becoming more mainstream, offering further new possibilities. What might be the future of these technologies in management education? And how could these future technology trajectories affect the competitive positioning of business & management schools across the world, given their differing access to resources, technological infrastructures and student groups served? This RT will explore such issues.
